UTTC had 38 entries at Sunday’s first Ontario Masters Winter Mini Meet
For a few new members, it was their first ever track meet.

M65 Peter Zowkewych broke three ONT Records;
1.41m High Jump, 8.45m Triple Jump, and 11.65 Shot Put
W45 Nancy Catton ran a 1:47.79 600m – breaking Annie Bunting’s Meet Record of 1:48.91 from MM#1 in 2008. Coach Mike led the way.
W55 Rita Botelho at the halfway mark during her attempt to make the 2:46 standard in the 800m for entry into the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Portland OR.
The IAAF is hosting a W55 and a M60 800m at their meet in March.
Rita just missed with a 2:53 finish. Coach Paul checks the split.
There were 16 Club Records set on the weekend.
