Presented at the Athletics Ontario Virtual Awards Gala on December 15, 2021
I was very honoured, at the Athletics Ontario Virtual Awards Gala on Wednesday night, to receive the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers from the Governor General, her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon.
The Queen’s Medal is the highest award given to a Volunteer in Canada.
The MC for the evening is Olympian Kate Van Buskirk, and the video presentation is narrated by David Smith (no relation – just a good friend). Give it a look! Thanks to all involved!
