UTTC finished the OMA Indoor Club Series, based on age group placings in the three OMA Winter Mini Meets, with almost twice as many points as the next two Clubs put together.

The highlights of the third meet were Canadian Record performances by two UTTC athletes;

W35 Khama Beckles  ran 8.09 in the 60m Prelim – breaking Caren Reindl’s 8.16 CAN record set way back in 1994.

W55 Lynn Kobayashi of UTTC broke her own CAN record by 7 seconds, that she set two weeks ago with a 21:48.46 mark in the 5000m.

Lynn ran the 5000m indoors at the Ontario Masters Winter Mini Meet on Sunday at the Toronto Track Centre.

Lynn finished in 21:55….breaking the W55 CAN record of 26:14 held by Gossette Radein ON.

UTTC Masters were the top scoring Club for the second meet in a row – thanks to strong performances by all of our entries.

UTTC Masters placed first of 23 Clubs participating in the first Ontario Masters Winter mini Meet held on Sunday, January 20th at the Toronto Track & Field Centre.

We had a great turnout for the Don Farquharson 4K cross country race.  We had a new record of 20 people racing, only New Market Huskies with 23 had more runners than UTTC.

Kevin Farr was on the Top M40 Team along with Mike Chang and John Willett

Once again, the Top W50 Team was Nicky Slovitt, Rita Botelho, and Lynda de Boer

TTC had the Top M5 Team – with James Wallace, Jay Yak, and Wayne Chee

UTTC Masters had a big turnout at the 18th Annual Ontario Masters 5K cross country race on Sunday, September 30th – finishing only 3 points behind the first place club in the XC Series standings.

Nicki, Rita and Lynda won top W50 team – breaking the Course record.

Kevin, Mike Chang, and Michal won the top M40 team

Jay Yak, John H. and Wayne won top M50 team

M35 Jay Brecher put the hammer down with 40m to go, passing Chris Deighan, to finish 1st overall.
